Whether he is exploring vast landscapes, experimenting with stylized studio work, or capturing intimate portraits, Troy Moth’s creative ventures reflect his intrepid temperament.
His award-winning photography has been exhibited worldwide and is showcased as part of the permanent collection at the Art Gallery of Victoria. He has worked for such publications as Rolling Stone and Vogue, and shot for numerous advertising campaigns in the US, Canada, and India.
Moth has proudly collaborated with the Webequie First Nation and Matawa Nation communities on various initiatives that he continues to support. Recently, he has also partnered with a small team on a multi-year development project in Tahsis, British Colombia to utilize 186 acres of oceanfront property for the arts and tech.
His recent work as a filmmaker has been showcased at festivals around the globe, and he continues to pursue the medium of motion picture alongside his photography.
Troy and his adventurous canine companion, Nikita, remain most at home in his birthplace of Vancouver Island, where the wild and unpredictable continue to call.
